Rocky Mountain Press announces the publication of Dome, the third novel in DL Orton’s award-winning Madders of Time science fiction series. Following Hive and Jump, Dome continues the struggle to save humanity across alternate realities.
In Dome, entire worlds are disappearing as Diego and Isabel venture through alternate pasts and possible futures. Each jump risks erasing the people they are trying to save. As the surviving timelines unravel, their mission tests how much they are willing to sacrifice to preserve a future together.Across four timelines, saving the future depends on losing the people who make it worth saving.
“Dome brings the consequences of time travel close to home,” said Rocky Mountain Press. “The stakes reach across worlds, but the story keeps returning to the people at risk and what it costs to save them.”
The new novel combines time-travel suspense with the emotional consequences of changing reality. It builds on a series whose first book, Hive, won the Science Fiction category of the 2026 IndieReader Discovery Awards.
